Fulham v Wolves Match Preview [LIVE]

On Saturday 24th February Wolves travel south to Craven Cottage for the televised clash with in-form Fulham, the game having a 5.30 kick off time.

Fulham’s recent form is impressive by anyone’s standards; they are unbeaten in 11 league games having not lost a game since the 16th December.
Their home run is seven consecutive wins having not lost at home in the league since 31st October. They have scored 14 goals in their past four matches at Craven Cottage.

For Wolves this is the first one in a consecutive run of 4 televised games. Wolves still have a healthy cushion at the top of the table although that lead was cut to 9 points as a result of a last gasp Norwich equaliser on Wednesday evening.

Wolves are now unbeaten in 5 games and have a chance to extend their lead again with second placed Cardiff City hosting fierce rivals Bristol City on Sunday. Wolves have gained 11 points from their last 5 games, which is the same return as Fulham.

Nuno Espirito Santo has a decision to make with regards to his midfield selection. Having lost his star playmaker, Ruben Neves for 2 games due to suspension, he will have to select two central midfielders to start from his available players; Alfred N’Diaye who has started the previous 3 games, Morgan Gibbs-White who has come off the bench in recent games and Romain Saiss who has recently returned from injury and is himself, just one yellow card away from a 2 match ban.
Another possible blow for Wolves is the ankle injury sustained by Benik Afobe. How serious the injury is and whether he will be available to play at Craven Cottage remains to be seen.

Gem’s prediction: 1-1

Well taken goal by Dicko at Hull tonight in their win over Sheffield United. He was awarded man of the match too. Was impressed with the manager's interview after the game. I think he'll keep them up.

Been a question of whether Gibbs White or Saiss will come in to replace Neves tomorrow, but with Costa doubtful with the injury that saw him taken off at half time on Wednesday, maybe they will both play

Wouldn't be surprised to see both come in and N'Diaye dropped to be honest, he hasn't really pulled up any trees other than in the first game or two when he came in.

Ruddy
Bennett - Coady - Boly
Doc - Saiss - N'Diaye - Baz
Costa - Leo - Cav

A suggestion that this is the side tomorrow

Given the fact that N’Daiye has scored in two of the last three games, I would say he is likely to keep his place.

He isn’t to blame for us sitting deep and conceding late against Norwich. We were relatively in control prior to the substitutions.

I think the team Cinci suggests will be close to today's line up, and I do hope Nuno goes back to playing with a striker from the start today, against tough opposition. One change I think I'd make would be Norris for Ruddy. The number of clean sheets Ruddy has can largely be attributed to the defence, where they've ensured he hasn't faced a single shot on target in some games! Personal preference I guess. I trust Nuno's judgement, he's the pro afterall, and he's done an outstanding job this far (bar the strange changes versus Norwich). Anyways, fulham are far from unbeatable at their place, so let's hope for a good game, and another 3 points towards our target.

N’Diaye has done a lot more than score two goals, many reports singled him out as our best player on Wednesday, no question he will keep his place
