Net spend, yawn. You have spent £450m on players, even if you started without a squad that's a lot of money.
Get off your high horse.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yawn? We sell to buy. You spent 500 million adding to your championship winning squad. Its relevant when we are trying to compete with city and uniteds finances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Firstly, could you correct the facts I brought up originally? If not, the point is valid, no?
Secondly, to say we added to Scholes, Vidic, Evra, Rio, Nani, Rafael, Kagawa, Park etc all who were sold/ retired?
No, we just got crap money for our players. I guarantee we have sold/ lost more players than you in that 5 year period.
In reality, net spend is important for one thing, the bank balance, and guess what, ours is much better than yours and you have still only had a net spend of £10m a season apparently.
Fact is, you have spend around £550m in 5 seasons, as I said, even with 0 players in the squad that's enough to build a good side, isn't it?

Barcelona feeder club v 6 trophies in 7 years.
I’ll stick with the latter and take the criticism

Yep, everybody knows where City got their money from and that he is a shadey guy, however City fans probably supported them long before he came along.
Not their fault they are now a well run club with a lot of money.

It seems the logical choice

Not as shady as Joe Lewis at Spurs who seems to be above criticism.

Since the 13/14 season (5 season), Liverpool have spent £452m on players.
Liverpool have 0 trophies in this period.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we have an average of 10 million net spend over the last 5 years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i bet that net spend trophy looks awesome in your trophy cabinet
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s no room in there due to the 5 European cups.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
thats not like you lot to be living in the past
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every trophy is in the past.

Do Liverpool fans have copies of their latest accounts framed on their walls next to old black and white photos of their glory years?

Yes, we have them instead of the framed photo of Henry Norris that you have on your walls

I wonder if the Rt Reverend Wenger has a photo of old Henry on his office wall.

The Rt Reverend Wenger has probably never heard of him. I've only ever seen him discussed on Manchester City articles.
