QPR V Forest Match Thread

Coincidentally the last time the Hoops lost at home was 0-3 to Middlesbrough. That was the 20th of January and that's the first and last time that a Karanka led Forest side has won, 0-2 at Wolves. It's a funny old league, at least when you're not losing and have overcome a five match run without a goal?

Have Forest found the confidence to turn up at Loftus Rd and bowl the Hoops over? Unlike Forest, QPR seem to beat teams at the bottom while caving into those at the top.

Bunk, I don’t think there is a team in this division capable of consistently keeping clean sheets, yes, I agree we are easy to create against, particularly from corners, but defensively we seem better organised than we were, and games together will surely cement together more as a team than individuals.

Forest won’t face strikers the size of Smith every week too. He was a handful in an awkward way. I do agree that Forest defence does need to be a hell of a lot tighter if they have ambitions of breaking into the top ten next season.

Could be worse, could have laid out the red carpet like QPR’s defence did! Not seen a defence stand off so much in years. Asking for it-Should have been seven or eight really.

Holloway said his team played like a bunch of timid Raccoon's!

He's always good for a laugh after he's lost.

Very bad day at the office, defence and midfield a total joke. The writing was on the wall when Smiths eader came down off the bar and didn't go in. See you next season.

Yes, that looked mightily close on the replay. He could’ve had a couple more. Bit of a perfect storm for Forest but QPR stood off repeatedly. Sure we will resume hostilities in this league next time round.

I certainly hope so RR it's a surefire six point's and plus seven goals! Though perhaps that's a little harsh as you lot had chances at 0-0 in both games.

Anyway when Holloway gives up on football he will make a good pub entertainer.

A few objects appeared to rain onto the pitch when Lolley scored the third goal. Not good from the QPR fans that.

There's a lot of disgruntled fans down the Bush. I'm not sure of the attendance but there's lots of empty seats these days. Three years under Les Ferdinand and second rate managers ave seen to that.

Yes, we can empathise with that feeling after five years under Al Hasawi. Crowds dropped by 7/8,000 by the end of his reign. It was awful.
