So Bristol’s slide continues, lost to baardiff today.
We are now 5 points behind. Win on Friday now and it’s down to 2 points and surely will apply a bit of pressure to Bristol and Derby.
Maybe the season isn’t over just yet?
Wishful thinking or dream land, but there is still hope.
Play off 5 points

If by some miracle go up then we'll have a wider selection of players to choose from so hopefully Orta can finally add some value!
Also when you go up you simply should just splash on quality, whether that's cherry picking players relegated in that season or tempting reserve players of larger teams.
Spend all the TV money on the team, budget it so that it works out the contracts half on relegation etc

People who think the results are all down to the players and the coach can see what a destructive influence Cellino was. Colin gets teams out of this league. Not pretty, but he makes the most of his resources. Bamba is their star player this year.

Tyke, Warnock isn't a good manager, he is the one that owners go to when they are scraping the barrel, he has impact but cannot maintain it, look at his CV and you will see he has been sacked by so many clubs, those he hasn't been sacked by as soon as the writing is on the wall he walks.
16 clubs in 38 years, he must have something but the bubble bursts pretty quickly.

The results went our way this weekend. The teams in positions 6-10, apart from Middlesbrough who drew with Sunderland, all lost. However the teams who are currently in positions 11-13 (Leeds, Millwall, Ipswich) all won and Norwich who were on the same points as ourselves drew - so had we lost or drawn we would have been down to 14th!!
We have to keep winning, that is the only way to have any chance of getting into 6th place. The results of the teams behind us are equally as important as those in front of us.

the paradox is that IF we scramble into the top six, and that's a mighty large IF, then Orta will be vindicated, the board and AR will congratulate themselves that their recruitment policy made sense.
I'd be very surprised if AR splashes significant wedge if we don't make the top six, or if we do and the blow it. He'll go again with the same squad and maybe a GK if we inundate him with positive tweets that rave on about what a fantastic businessman he is (even if he knows jackschitt about football).
Pleased with the result yesterday, though - good for PH. I like this guy, although whether or not he is the man to take us up, only time will tell.

Tough 4 ahead Boro, Wolves, Reading, Sheff Wed. We can win this games, even Wolves at home, everything is in the hands of the players now, if they can step up, if not, then they are not good enough for promo.... IF only saiz hadn’t spat. IF only flex made two less howlers....

Millwall flying, they are the ones going for it.

There's probably only one play-off place to play for and you have to say we're not favourites to get it - on current form you have to look at Boro or (sorry!) Millwall. Like it or not, Millwall are fighters. They revel in the fact no-one likes them and have what Leeds use to have - the siege mentality. We've long lost the ability to raise our game when the odds are against us, but Millwall - albeit inconsistently - play above themselves when the proverbial chips are down. That's about team spirit, the vital quality we lack.

i agree with this, but leeds are unbeaten in three and a win against boro would give the team real belief.
one game at a time, but i think anything but a win friday and its pretty much over.

I agree to an extent. For this division he is probably one the best managers if you want promotion.
However in the EPL he gets found out and certainly isn't even at the level of Fat Sam, Roy or even Pulis.
