BUT, really, let's not pretend there weren't some cracks papered over. The first half in particular was really poor. For some reason Chelsa retreated in the second half otherwise they'd have had a real good chance of beating us. Much as it hurts to say this, we play like that against Liverpool in 2 weeks they'll embarrass us. Need to improve fast.

Like I said in the match thread, fantastic performance from the big man and we are all happy. Players put in this performance, he will be rightly supported. Fantastic sub from Mourinho as well. I would've taken both Martial and Sanchez off at the same time

Lingard needs to play.
If Lukaku can put in a few more performances like today, especially against the big clubs, he'd win me over.
