Traore Red Card Rescinded

Traore’s red card against Sunderland last week has been rescinded on appeal.

He will now be available to play on Friday.

Anyone seen video of the incident? Anyone got a link to it, so we can have a discussion about it?

all fans from every club feel like this, I don;t think Leeds are at all victimized... its just the tunnel vision way we all look at things as sports fans. me included.... "must be foul" I'd cry out from the back of the stand... not thinking for one second the that the ref who was 10 meters away may have seen it clearer hahahahaha

The main problem with referees is consistency. There isn't any and that is was irks fans most. Going back to the Burton Albion game which saw a tackle that was deserving of a red on Viera which caused injury and loss of form. The ref Imo didn't send him off because it would have incensed Burton Albion who felt that Berardi should have walked. Just because you didn't give a penalty to one team then means you have to balance it out and not award one up the other end.

It's forgivable when it's a 50/50 decision that doesn't go your way, but when twice in a game the ref pulls play back when we're through on goal for a foul on OUR player it's those type of decisions that cost you games and it happens to us ALOT.

The ref last weekend was the worst I can recall. I don't buy into the bias stuff, the guy should be taken in isolation and judged on that basis.

Not just the advantage(s) he failed to allow - it was the booking of our players, for what were pretty innocuous challenges early doors, then completely ignoring similar from Brentford a few minutes later. It's that inconsistency that inflames things.

It was just a 5h1t ref that game, pure and simple. Not helped by the flag wavers mind, they were useless too - so crap officialdom as a collective !!!

think we have screwed ourselves a bit too.

all the showing imaginary cards by our previous management team

alioski flopping around constantly

ayling and phillips had triple somersault with pike too.

refs will prob feel like were trying to con them quite often

LR - I think you're right when it comes to Alioski and Saiz .... they're making issues for themselves by crying wolf too many times.

I've no doubt refs have discussed them and are now reluctant to penalise opposition, in case they're play acting - which they have a few times this season if we're being honest.

vof - how alioski has been allowed to keep doing it by our coaches il never know.

against brentford he went down feeling his head in the area... i swear he didnt get touched.

its annoyingly pathetic.

Totally agree .... I hate it from any player - regardless of the team. Embarrassing, pathetic - and cheating ....

Bad decision to overturn but I wish all our fans would stop playing the victim card every 5 minutes.

Referees should be instructed not to blow after a foul then waiting to see if any advantage takes place.
No such thing as a good advantage being played, it should always happen.

I have just completed my recertification to do adult amateur games here in the US.

Part of the process is to take 12 online modules on various themes ranging from 5 - 30 minutes in length.

There is one Advantage module. Amongst the guidance contained therein that I thought some may find interesting and informative:

1) "Wait 2 - 3 seconds to see if the play develops,"
2) "At next stoppage of play issue misconduct" (usually YC),
3) "Serious Foul Play offenses (RC) - No advantage unless there is an obvious and immediate goal scoring opportunity."
