Boro game in the balance

Friday nights game against Middlesbrough is under serious threat of postponement due to the beast in the North East. Boro state that they are desperately trying to get the game on but trains aren't going any further than Darlington and the roads in the Riverside vicinity are pretty bad. 27k tickets sold and it was set to be a belter.

Leeds also postponed the pre match interviews today due to the snow.

Can't see it going ahead myself, would be a kick in the teeth for us after finally getting a win and then we would have to host Wolves. Your thoughts?

WTF is only 2-3 inches of snow!!!
If it was 4 feet of snow I may have understood all the fuss.

Problem is we have about 75% of drivers who have no idea how to drive in snow.

It will be carnage if it goes ahead

Problem is no one bothers with snow chains and no one bothers with winter tyre's on top of no training driving in snow.

Yea I can see that would be a big problem

We drive in snow 5-6 monthes every year, so lots of experience.
Maybe we should come over and drive you to games

The country to be fair is just royally fcked, it's not prepared for anything. It's not the trains that can't run its more the frozen signalling points that freeze and don't work which means the trains can't run.

same with me norway, here in montreal i find it easier to drive in the snow. those 90 degree turns are a breeze. so far this year we have had almost 300 cm of snow.
i assume in england you dont have snow tires.
