RANGERS make three changes for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup quarter-final as Jak Alnwick, Bruno Alves and Jason Cummings come in to face Falkirk.
The trio replace Wes Foderingham, Russell Martin and the injured Jamie Murphy. The winger picked up a knock in the final minutes of the Gers 4-1 win over St Johnstone in midweek and hasn’t recovered in time.
Alnwick played in the fifth round of the cup a win over Fraserburgh while injury kept him out of the visit to Ayr United. Alves hasn’t started a game since December’s Old Firm. This will be Cummings fourth start since joining the Gers in January.
James Tavernier keeps the armband in a defence made of himself, Alves, David Bates and Andy Halliday, who continues at left-back in the absence of the injured duo of Lee Wallace and Declan John.
Rangers holding midfielders are Sean Goss and Greg Docherty, Goss come into this game fresh off a man of the match display in midweek where he scored another free-kick stunner.
An attacking three of Daniel Candeias, Cummings and Josh Windass will sit in behind top scorer Alfredo Morelos.
RANGERS: Alnwick, Tavernier, Alves, Bates, Halliday, Docherty, Goss, Candeias, Windass, Cummings, Morelos.
Subs: Foderingham, Martin, Hodson, Holt, Herrera, Miller, Dodoo.
