Heck's sticking with him as he doesn't seem
to be sold on BPF. We're fooked:

Felix

Don’t forget, our ownership believes this is a top 6 team inc of the goalie!
Cellino must have left some pretty strong stuff to smoke in his desk😩

Jonny, I read/heard similar to what LIW said.
Club/Orta brought in Felix because he could
(so we were told) play that sweeper/keeper
role that TC liked. Green wasn't too thrilled
at being put into a position where he was seen
as a back-up to Felix, so asked for a move.
Hudds wanted him (as their back-up at a higher
wage). That's what I believe happened.
Either way you slice it, Green was far superior
to any of the 3 lightweights we have in his place.

This whole Felix fiasco is a fine example of not
judging a player before he's kicked (or attempted
to punch) a ball in an actual game for the club.
He's categorically garbage.

The Felix link is great although me and dad think there have been more - certainly errors - but also more direct mistakes leading to goals.
There are 6 awful goals on there.
Can anyone remember anymore?

There must be a few miscommunications which have led to a corner then a goal or ones where Felix should have called to claim, didn't then a rushed clearance led to a goal (remember than happening in one of the last 5 games)

Wakey you are saying pretty much the same as JLA.
Clear Green could not be guaranteed the number one spot as the management were known to favour the sweeper/keeper type that Felix was supposed to be.
No guarantee that moving would mean he started, but at least, even at third choice, he would be paid better to not play.
Nothing is for certain in the football world.
I think that with us he would be playing week in/week out but he would be on less money than he is allegedly on now.
We are certainly worse off because of a decision made by people who haven't a clue. Don't know who was behind the decision to bring Felix in but they cocked up greatly.
As has been said to play at ER you need a lot of bottle, Felix doesn't have it, Green showed, following the world cup mistake, that he has it in spades.

Thank you Acid, some to quick too jump on others here sometimes.
LIW and Batty, I agree that Felix was brought in to be first choice keeper as they (Who - Orta, TC, or both?) wanted a sweeper style keeper, after Felix arrived, it was likely presented to Green that Felix would be first choice and THEN...
what I wrote above
Green asked for the move.
The point I was trying to make, clearly somewhat unsuccessfully, was that he wasn't thrown out of the club but asked to leave (after being displaced).

There were the two lonergan mistakes away at brentford so that makes 8.
