The usual pre-match shenanigans are well underway ahead of the Forest v Derby match. Ex-players aplenty have been queuing up to give their opinion on how they see things shaping up at the CG on Sunday afternoon. Kenny Burns has been particularly cautious in his predictions for the match...🤭

Both clubs have been quite forthright in their joint statement regarding their expectations from both sets of fans. Personally, the rivalry seems to have chilled out a touch from six or seven years ago when it was regularly a headline maker for the wrong reasons, such as Kneegate, the Battle of Trowell and Flaggate. There have still been the odd Doughty and Philpott chants from both sets of supporters but hopefully the pressure now being exerted by the clubs will be mirrored in the stands and any idiots will be drowned out by the proper supporters. I’ll out-shout anyone in the Upper Bridgford who tries to start anything distasteful for starters! 🤫

Always a game that makes headlines so hopefully come 4.30pm on Sunday we will have a big shiny photo of Karanka and Watson lifting the Brian Clough Trophy to the masses at the CG and those watching on TV.
