Any idea when you might post your memories on Utd in the 70's? I think I can say for most of us that read your articles on the 60's, that they were a very good read. Look forward to reading your perspective on the decade I was born.

As an aperitif I remember going to see us play Chelsea, we went in a Vauxhall Viva and slept in the car Saturday night so we could see the Tutankhamen exhibition on Sunday before we came home. I walked to the Bridge next to Rex Harrison and Rachel Roberts. I know I've mentioned this before, I'm not sure if it was the 60's or 70's, but the exhibition would give it away. I try not to Google anything, just to give memories, if I get a date or score wrong it doesn't matter.

As a diehard United fan, yesterday was probably the best match day experience I've ever had. Got to my seat half an hour before kick off. I did an abusive tweet to a Liverpool fan page on Twitter. I got 4 likes which was more than normal. That's when I knew we were really up for it. The atmosphere on twitter was building at this point. 15 minutes before kick off I started to get nervous because I remember what happened in the last match, just couldn't get anything going all match. All the streams kept going down or freezing. So I made sure this time I had 2 working streams before kick off. The game kicked off and I watched on both streams which were out of sync. I had the sound from one and a still image frozen on the other. I also had flashscores and twitter up on other tabs so I could get the most up to date updates. I saw the score turn 1-0 on flashcores and then copy and pasted a tweet into JA606 live thread. "What a goal from Rashford" I said. The stream didn't load for the rest of the match but I didn't care because we had won and was the best match day experience of my life. I left my seat and got a glass of milk from the kitchen. It was good.

WLE. Yes I did, because I was younger, more fanatic, I had mates who were the same. It was all new, we tried to win every game, no fans cared about tactics. Chelsea was a glamorous game for me, Osgood, Hutch, Cooke, Webb, Chopper, we had Law, Best and Charlton. Visiting London was always good, seeing everywhere that was on a monopoly board.
it was 1972 apparently.

You deemed it fit to not include any of the games I listed. What's your point, apart from taking the article off topic?
