Can anybody tell me why did Man City exhibit such a lack of sportsman spirit and fair play in match yesterday v Stoke City?I watched the second half and Man City nearly scored the third goal from a common ball which was initiated by the referee. It is not as if Man City are in desperate need of points or facing a tight battle for winning the title or in a relegation battle. They were more than 12 points ahead and they were winning the match versus Stoke City 2-0 so there was no need to demonstrate lack of sportsman spirit and fairplay.Does anyone agree with me?

In a game between Chelsea and Newcastle, who would you want to win?

If Carragher was on MNF he would have been spitting mad with that.

This
Stoke mis-controlled it whilst under no pressure
City pounced but didn't finish it off
Nothing to see here.
