3 years running Chelsea have been knocked out in the round of Arsenal - we may need to rename that soon.

Probably the last Champs league match for Courtois, Hazard and Conte at Chelsea. Once again Hazard didn't turn up against a European big boy.

Anyway United, Spurs and Cheksea all need to win the FA cup now to salvage their seasons, should be cracking this weekend

Will the spammers get relegated before Maf gets another ban? Had more red cards than Joey Barton.

Okay Nick why can't Chelsea build a dynasty, God knows they have the money to do so. Is 1 CL sufficient for the outlay? Why the hell are they falling apart for the second time in 3 years? Why can't a manager last 3 seasons plus at your club? And why does Hazard go missing every time he is up against top draw European opposition?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends what you mean by a dynasty, top 5-10 most popular club in wrld football according to most sources, top 10 in generated income, most successful english side in the last 10 years. As for a manager, different reasons, not dissimilar to any other clubs, look how many managers spurs and liverpool have had the last 10 years.

As for hazard, he was great against atletico home and away, was decent against barca at home, not great, but decent, scored against munich and was amazing in the super cup final, also was one of our only performers against roma at home.

If munich and atletico are not elite than the only other team we have played are barca where like I said he was decent first leg, poor second.

Other than that, he has torn apart city, liverpool and utd near enough single handedly in the past. So where do you get that he doesn't turn up against top draw teams, european or not? Seeing as other than barca he usually has.

I’m not too fussed about the oneupmanship, Nick seems like a decent guy on here. But just to pick up one thing:

“ As for a manager, different reasons, not dissimilar to any other clubs, look how many managers spurs and liverpool have had the last 10 years.”

We’ve had four. Chelsea have had 11, or being generous and not including caretakers - 9.

Quite a significant difference.

Maybe 8 if you group Hiddink’s tenures together....anyway you get my point.

This is the reason I say Looters on this site have collective IQ less than room temperature....

What West Ham got to do with their abysmal performance over the last few decades?

Didn't realise their was such a difference phil, i'll take it back. However I think you'd agree (not a d!ck swinging match)that chelseas requirements as a club are a bit higher for a manager?Or atleast have been the last 10 years. I would love a bit more consistency, however I would also not like to be what Arsenal have been for nearly 15 years now accepting mediocrity. It's a fine line.

I think that's a fair point - if we compare the relative success of our two clubs in that period it paints a very different picture. Obviously Spurs have been 'building' towards becoming a club which competes at the top level, so for example finishing with no trophies and maybe 5th/6th in the league in some seasons has been far from a disaster for us during this period. Whereas for Chelsea that would have been a fairly disastrous season and merit looking at whether serious change is needed.
