Getting tickets to the Liverpool game

Just been offered the chance to go up and visit the city at the weekend (I'm a Londoner). Went to Anfield when I was younger but would love to go again as I'm going all that way, I was wondering if there was a way to get tickets for the game at this late stage? I'm bringing a non-Liverpool fan mate who is up for it but only at a reasonable price (he mentioned around £50-£60).

Is it worth rocking up to the ground and finding a tout?

Shouldn't you support a London club then? Lot easier to get to from err... London.

Was introduced to football and Liverpool from my cousin at the age of 4.

As such, my geographical awareness of the UK as a toddler was lacking.

I also started following Brentford as time went on.

As a Liverpool fan, did you move to London from Oslo or Stockholm?

Very few Liverpool supporters come from Liverpool I suspect. Most jumped on the 1970s bandwagon. They were poorly supported when I first saw them as a second division side in the 60s, crowds barely broke 30,000. Everton had the 60,000 crowds and were always the bigger side back then.
