This week our very first opponents in the Premier League come to town. Who can forget our fantastic 3-0 victory over them in August? No one (pundits) expected us to get anything from that game and I believe most of those same pundits won’t expect us to get anything from this game either, but what do they know 😂

In fairness when we played them in August they were a team trying to adapt to a new manager and a new style of play. De Boer didn’t last long (was he given a fair chance?) and in came Hodgson who quickly turned them around. However that honeymoon period is well and truly over and Palace are now involved in the relegation scrap, along with ourselves and a few others. For selfish reasons, and to cut down on expense, I would like to see Palace and either Southampton or Swansea to go down. I would have liked Bournemouth or Brighton to go as well but that’s unlikely to happen 😡

A double dose of bad news today, Williams is out for the rest of the season and Zaha is back in contention for Saturday. However are we overstating his importance to Palace? Hopefully. As to the actual team we put out I would like to see Lowe return in place of Malone and Ince instead of Quaner. Collin to come on in the second half along with Depoitre.

Seriously I think we should have enough to beat them but every one of the players will need to be at their best from the off. I’m going for my usual 2-1 to us with Mounie and Ince the scorers.

I’m not saying this is a must win game but we need to win it 😂 C’mon Town we can do this, let’s take another step towards safety.

But the way I see it,
There's nothing wrong with "A bit of ball tampering"

btw..
England did alright tonight untill he started making changes on the 'hour'..
No way is Stones International standard though,
Overall, I thought they played well against the Cloggies & eyeties,
A bright new start perhaps ?

Into golf at the moment...getting a tremendous amount of hole in one's 😋

Big deal been made about the direct flight to london from perth over here darn in 17 hours!..my niece was on that flight doing journalistic work for tv in oz......thing is probably the best aircraft ever built the british vickers Vc 10 did it years ago in 16 hours👍 ...a bloody disgrace what has happened to britains aircraft industry!!

I'd like to know how quickly that could have done the flight. (The jealous septic tanks put paid to the commercial success of that project)

However.
As is through my experience over the years, More so now I'm starting to develop a 'Monky's arghz' as the years go by, I baulk at the thought of being in 'economy' for 17 hours straight.
I'm afraid 'Darn' will always prefer a mid flight break somewhere in the mid-east these days.
But appreciate, for the well off, (1st & Business class) & younger travelers this straight through flight is a good option for them.

As for the Hole in one's .... Impressive
Although you must admit,
It's quite exciting when the ball runs around the rim before .....
dropping in the hole
