5-1 aggregate win over AC Milan, good stuff.
Got a bit shaky for a minute, and a shocking decision by the goalline official certainly steadied the nerves. However, we were clearly the better team over the two legs and victory was deserved.
Onto the quarters, where our potential opponents are:
Atletico Madrid
Lazio
RB Leipzig
CSKA Moscow
Marseille
Sporting
Salzburg
The draw is at midday (LIVE!!! on BT Sport)
It is stating the obvious to say I hope we avoid Atletico Madrid. RB Leipzig and Lazio look decent, while Salzburg are a bit of an unknown quantity who are on a very strong run in Europe. A trip to Russia puts me off CSKA, although I think they are very beatable over 2 legs.
Sporting and Marseille would be my hope for this draw. Two teams whose styles suit us, and two opponents I would be fairly confident of beating.

That wasn't an observation on who the easier opponents are; it's about Arsenal and their inconsistency... they can turn an easy draw into the hardest match possible. Ostersunds, anyone?
