Jose's Presser

I know there's an article below, but that's more of a slinging match with the mousers.

For those who haven't seen it, watch;
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43434736

What's so frustrating is Jose seems to think we are annoyed because we went out in the first knockout round. He can't seem to understand it's the football and defensive mindset that caused the jeering.

Pointing to Man City, Real Madrid and our record is frankly embarrassing. How about this heritage Jose, Liverpool and Man City have been awful in the CL yet one will be in the Semi.

His paragraph around leaving the next manager with players like Matic shows he probably doesn't expect to be around too long.

I haven't commented today as I hadn't seen/ heard the presser.

Watched the uncut version on mutv now and as someone who never wanted him as manager and have said I wouldn't be sad to see him go , I have to say I got it.

This was no meltdown this was bang on

You fell for it hook line and sinker then....

Jose’s ‘eritage’ is a club that only spent about £150m in the two seasons before he walked through the door. A paltry sum. This is football ‘eritage’.

His ‘eritage’ is also a club that has spent 20 years at the top table of European football, playing some of the best attacking football ever seen in the PL and winning a leagu title in 2013 with a team far more worse than he has now. This is football ‘eritage’

This is one of the if not the richest club in the entire world. Under his stewardship they have spent the kind of money on individual players that would make Guardiola blush. £90m on one central midfielder. £70m on a striker. Yet despite that Mourinho is dressing this up as some kind of mid table club having a re-build.

This is football ‘eritage’

Can't disagree with any of that

Jose is talking absolute bollox and trying to deflect the utter Sheite football we produce week in week out. He has no excuses whatsoever IMO. He has under performed at United since he has being here due to the amount of money spent. Let's not flower it up because of the Europa league because let's be fair. No can deny that was probably the easiest route to a European final you could ever have

we sung a managers name when he had us hovering above the relegation zone, when Liverpool were in similar shet fans were boycotting games.

Don't mate. You've not a leg to stand on with this.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if David Moyes was manager now Nd made similar comments.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The difference that shines through in Mourinho's presser is his character and determination, and his ability to produce a compelling speech.

It's a very stark contrast to Moyes admitting he was afraid of the fans' reaction if he subbed an injured Van Persie.

I find the football Mourinho serves up totally loathesome, and always thought his first game managing Madrid was a game too many, but I can understand why he is able to win over a club's hierarchy.

If I were a United fan I'd probably have been against his appointment from the get-go, but that's because of my own order of priorities for what I'd like from my club. I can understand why results-first fans would see it otherwise though.

Results first over content, is fine... only if you actually get the results.

The pitfall is that there isn't a single manager in the world, not even Mourinho, who will always get the results.

It's the precise reason he's always been a short term
manager. Either he's been astute enough to make a move in time, or he's been hounded out because the football itself and his own sourness when results don't come make for a totally unpalatable combination.

I'm much more on bandido's side - good football will generally reap better rewards. Not only that, but in the event of it not quite working out, at least the ride is a hell of a lot more fun.

He says he respects the fans and the club but starts slating the clubs record in Europe dating back past 2008 bit disrespectful to Sir Alex surely?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he started from 2012 as before that we had reached 3 finals in 4 yrs. picks and chooses his dates to suit his agenda. Why the hell go back only 7 yrs. plus he forgets the 2013 defeat when he was manager of Madrid we were cheated and were by far the better team
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Conveniently he ignores his own record since 2012 which has got progressively worse:

2012 - Semi final
2013 - Semi final
2014 - Semi final
2015 - Last 16
2016 - sacked before the last 16
2017 - won the Europa
2018 - last 16

To have dig at the club your manager of not winning the CL enough times and bringing into it the most respected figure in the clubs history’s record in the CL is going to cause the most disruption in the club.. If I was Sir Alex listening to that I would want him out now and be offended by his remarks and comparisons..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How prophetic is this? It turns out that SAF told the board that something needs to change after the Sevilla defeat.

Yep, this game combined with his post match comments were the final straw for myself and many other United fans.

He just didn't understand this club.
