Salah

Devil's Advocate I did see his talent and so did a few others when Salah was playing well for FC Basel in Champions League v Chelsea and another big English club-either Liverpool or Man U before signing for Chelsea.His ability was there but nobody was sure that he was going to be as good as the current season.I wanted Ba,Salah and KDB to stay at Chelsea.

I remember most people at the time preferring Schurrie, seeing more potential in him long term (including me). My how times change

Plenty of players have had one off seasons like Salah has had, wait to see if he does it again next season. I suspect not.

I think Salah will have a good season next season. He's improved so much in a short space of time and been so good this season, I just can't see how his levels will plummet.

Sorry sandy, but how many players have had seasons like Salah has and not had other good seasons? I would not say plenty. This is arguably the best season from an attacking player ever in the PL. I'm saying that as a Spurs and Kane fan.

Lol - Chelsea wish they were as big as Arsenal.

Last season, Chelsea were cantering to the PL title but no one really cared. All people spoke about in English football in the second half of last season was Arsenal, Wenger etc.

Wonderful thing...hindsight...but we did feck up huge here

How many players have had a one off season near as good as the one Salah is having?

Maybe Ramsey for Arsenal a few seasons ago.
