OFF POSTPONED CANCELLED
Interesting to note that when played Cardiff away in September we started with Huddlestone, Ledley, Russell, Lawrence and Winnall in the team. It is likely that none will start tomorrow - maybe Lawrence - at the return fixture. Oh, and we drew 0-0.
Not sure what this indicates except that we like drawing.
And therein lies the problem - or one of them.
In the week since the Notts Florest fixture, we have no positive answer to the conundrums thrown up about the failure to get a win. At least I don't leave at half-time.
We're still in the top 6. We still possess a highly skilled team but we have that block. Sunday would be a marvellous opportunity to get that win.
So, no Huddlestone, Ledley and possibly Lawrence. Vydra is also out. That midfield will be a puzzle to solve. Baird? Sometimes when we feel that everything is against us, we produce our best.

Strett’s posted exactly the same link today as he posted yesterday, described it as an “update” and believes that this means that the episode “rumbles on”!
He tries so very, very hard, but he’s so very, very stupid.

By “new” Strett, do you mean “the same as the previous day”? It’s all dated on the 19th if you care to look. Looking forward to another update from you along similar lines today though. It’s all very exciting and I commend your efforts, if not the result.

'Controversy surrounding Cardiff City's postponed game with Derby County may be coming to a head after the Football League received all the observations from both clubs and are now considering a response.
The fall out took yet another turn yesterday, with the launch of a petition demanding that Derby County be docked points for their failure to fulfil the fixture.
We will provide updates on the saga as Thursday unfolds, with the EFL not expected to take a long time to complete the process. A decision isn't out of the question today.'
Lets hope it will be over soon and Vidal can stop being confused about updates/time/date, etc.

I can't see any points deduction being applied, that would be very harsh; for what on the surface looks like gross incompetency from Derby County.

EFL release statement
The league have just released a statement that says they are satisfied that postponing the game was the correct decision.
Thank goodness that mess is over, now maybe we can all carry on, and Vidal can get back to his pop-up calendar.
