Top Six: Easter Term Report Card

Celtic: whilst not achieving the heights of last year Celtic continue to make progress by remaining on course for a unique double treble. Never been done before but these bhoys under Brendan Rodgers are history makers.

Kilmarnock: the team of the season. Stevie Clark is the living personification of what a good manager can do with a bunch of under-achieving players. Brought in to keep them from relegation they now sit comfortably and deservedly in the top six.

Hibs: newly promoted but comfortably in the top six and challenging for 2/3rd place. Neil Lennon might just have found his spiritual home in Edinburgh with the Hibs as he has shown he can motivate individuals and the team. A real gutsy team.

Aberdeen: the perennial bottlers might just have turned a corner as they are sitting third, two points behind, but with a game in hand and having qualified for the semi-final fo the Scottish Cup. Derek McInnes probably made the correct decision to turn down Rangers (apparently their supporters 'never wanted him' and are glad 'they dodged a bullet') but he now has to press on and achieve second place or win the Cup to prove them wrong.

Hearts: Under Levin, the constant stirrer, they never appear in their performance to amount to much, BUT, they have made effective signings and it WAS Hearts who stopped Celtic's record-breaking run and they are still in there fighting. Although on occasions 'fighting' seems to be the operative word.

Rangers: any report card on Rangers really has to say 'must try harder', 'must concentrate, should not be distracted by a weak Board, reserve team coach and some rather strange signings'. Murty, for a -20s coach has done well but realistically his time is up. Some of the senior players have flattered to deceive and some of their hereos (eg Goss) are now zeros. Could retain second spot but it would surprise no one if they ended up fourth and out of Europe. Off the field activities might threaten the Club again.

Roll on the remainder of the season.

Don’t rule out Hibs for second place.

The post split fixtures between Hibs, Aberdeen and Rangers will be very very interesting

We are far from on course for the treble. We really aren't playing well at all lately. Even at ibrox we let in two soft goals.

Celtic continue to make progress
——————————————

😂😂😂😂😂

Keep telling yourself that......
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yet you think your team is progressing only because Celtic haven't been as successful in terms of league points as last season.

That is indeed pleasing. You will continue to stagnate because you are too interested in how many points worse off we are instead of striving to pick up more points yourself
