After the good winning run, it all came to a juddering halt with the defeat at home to Celtic. A competitive game that we deserved a point from. So the Killie game was an opportunity to get back on track and cement 2nd spot
But it was a completely lackluster performance. We lacked energy, passion, commitment and creativity. Pass marks go to Docherty who gave everything. It was a game we shouldnβt have lost. But we certainly didnβt deserve to win. Martin missed two sitters. But Killie proved what a top coach can do on a limited budget with limited players. And they certainly deserved something from the game. We must hold our hands up to that
Murty simply failed to inspire, organize and make the required tactical changes on Saturday. He was outfought by Clarke and the team were outfought by Killie. Simply not good enough and itβs a reminder of how much we still have to improve.
We continue to be a disaster at CB. Despite Alves experience and command in the air, heβs as slow as a snail and is easily exposed for pace and when the ball os played into space.
Clearly we have a lot of players who are out injured and will improve the team on their return - Bates, McRorie, Dorrans, Jack.
But once again we looked powder puff. Murtyβs done a decent job. But the end of the season must see us opt to bring in Stevie Clarke. Heβs shown beyond doubt this season what a inspired signing he was by Killie.
With the better squad on offer at Rangers and bigger budget he would certainly improve us and turn us into a more consistent and competitive team.

You'll find however it was your resident Old bailey qualified expert that made the initial claims. This means that there is infighting amongst the bears and Curly thinks he knows more about law that your law expert
