With our club on the rise again and players development growing what can Liverpool do to stop the likes of Barca, Real and PSG trying to buy our best players.
With Salah in flying form I see the club's circling.
I know we need to start winning trophies but without these players staying it's not going to help. I know Salah has said he wants to play in the prem as it suits his game but how much so if it gets offered £400,000 a week.
Do Liverpool need to win the CL this year to become a better prospect for players?
Barca, Real and PSG

Location, heat, history-by far the most successful European teams, particularly Madrid. Very prestigious teams.

Theres natural cycles at real and barca
The reality is barca next year will be looking at messi, iniesta, pique and suarez as really elder statemen.
At Real they are looking at barca winning and not happy but benzema has been kept too long, ronaldo is getting on and the players they bought have not really delivered
IMO these guys need to be made pony the full amount or be sanctioned by UEFA for thier antics.
Nobody minds a player "fulfilling his dream" but when his dream is tax dodging in spain under the nice sun and having a great life while the club he leaves doesn't get paid for 5 years thats not much good
At least city have the good grace to just pony up and leave the games to the spanish.

The worry is Ronaldo and Messi are ageing, and Salah is the only other player close to their level

The club should set an objective of keeping Mo for the next three years, building around him a team worthy of being at the top on that basis and refusing to budge, no matter from whom a move is requested. This idea of waiting to see who, if anyone is going to come in and make an offer is debilitating.
It should be a term of his renewed contract that he is here for that period, and no matter who makes a bid, he stays.
I can't for the life of me seeing him go at the end of the season. 'One season wonder' could still happen.
Our history and style of play doesn't matter with the other big clubs. I strongly suspect the current Spurs team will not be the same at the start of the next season.
Mo has repeatedly said he's happy, wants to stay (accepted, so did Coutinho). Let the club keep him happy and keep him with us.

Na black starr, pretty happy about it to be honest after winning two league titles and now enjoying watching them play in the PL.
KDB showed promise so a bit dissapointed but like I said, two league titles and doubt salah would have got a chance with willian, pedro and hazard in the team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just don’t understand that Nick. Salah is way better than Pedro, out performing Willian and together with Hazard could rip the division apart for Chelsea. If they had kept hold of KDB as well - imagine that
It makes absolutely no sense what Chelsea do. They spend loads of cash and hire a top manager to win a league title. They then sell good players and fail to invest and it all falls apart the next season. So they just do it all over again. Makes no long term sense and I think this season shows that

We need to make players play to the end of their contracts. But if we do we can't moan when they leave on a free like Emre

tax dodging has been massively clamped down on now in spain
i think high earners like footy players, pay more tax in spain now, than in the UK
