City get police involved

For certain games Liverpool fans do a pre game meet and greet to welcome our team coach into the stadium. This involves thousands of fans lining the streets, scaffolding and hanging out house windows with scarfs, flags and Pyro's.

It is usually a really colourful and fantastic occasion that is rarely seen in the UK. Players have said it inspires them. Opposition teams have said it is intimidating but never complained.

For our Champions league game against City on the 4th April the fans have decided to do it again.

Man City found out about this and have informed the police who are now threatening to cancel a football celebration. They have even said that you can get arrested for using a pyro ffs

How pathetic is this. We are one of the only teams that create atmosphere before bug games and they want to take this away from the fans.

What is the issue with this?? No one has been hurt before so what is the problem?

Are City just worried that their players will wonder why their own club can't create an atmosphere? Do they think their players will get intimidated? Or are they just a big bunch of wet tarts?

No Pyro no party

Thoughts?

Best away atmosphere I’ve seen as Chelsea fan in this decade is at Palace and Etihad.

He knows not of what he speaks...

Correct spelling is Pansy, plural being Pansies.

Whirl your arms some more, hold plastic flags while you do that, so you could claim you're doing some semaphore.

Loz.

Be honest, have you personally phoned the Chief Constable of Merseyside Police about the matter?

Please answer truthfully.

That's good enough for me.

I'm suspicious that some of the Liverpool fans are starting to tell fibs.

Petroclub doping all over the place and now they want police to help them too.

Why don't you actually earn something via hard work than having everything on a silver platter? No one respects a gift for same way they would an actual achievement.
