There's a lot going around social media this past couple of days that,
Jamie Carragher, although quite rightly slated, was getting called up on to effectively be hung out to dry........
But then Ant McPartland does his little caper, puts lives at risk and the public reaction is apparently "Awww bless, we need to help him".
I don't know if this is the case, because apart from scrolling down to see if a newspaper finally has pics of either Gemma Atkinson or Demi Rose Mawby topless. i tend to steer clear of the news this past few weeks because i believe the tories are being clever about their Russian allegations.
what i mean about that is, whilst we're distracted and outraged at what happened and are focused on Russia, the tories new cuts plans are being ignored.
Any sympathy for Carragher now?

Can't you have some sympathy for both their predicaments? Ant is obviously troubled, but there is no way of knowing whether Carragher has issues too. I'm there are many people on this forum who have driven over the limit, or experienced some road rage.
Marcos Alonso crashed his car whilst driving over the limit, and the passenger died. How should we feel about him? Personally, I think its better that we recognise that people have faults and make mistakes, so we can try to empathise with them.
A lot worse happens day to day to be honest, and often from people in power.

I think everyone can have sympathy with their "predicaments", but not their way of dealing with it. I've had to deal with all sorts in the past, and present, and not once have I driven whilst drunk, or spat at someone. Both are despicable acts, PJ or Duncan could have easily killed someone, and Carragher could have made someone really quite wet.

Can we stop and think for a moment why jlou1978 has watched Phil and Holly twice in a week (and that’s only the times we know about). Could be going through some stuff, maybe a loss of a job, nobody knows what demons people are having to bear.
