BBC 4

Maybe it is because I have just turned 30 but I really struggle to find anything of interest on telly to watch come an evening.

About the only thing I keep an eye out for are the weekends late at night on BBC4. You get some really good music documentaries and the old TOTP episodes from the 80's are an absolute hoot.

I noticed Modern Romance were on Vintage TV recently. In concert. What a great groundbreaking group they were. Cherry Pink And Apple Blossom White, sublime.

I keep missing that. Always on last episode by the time I notice it's getting shown

He had one about baseball too. I liked it.

The 30 for 30 series from espn gets shown occasionally on Bt here. Focuses mainly on American sports but they were generally good. There was one in particular that was brilliant called Once Brothers about two yugoslav basketball players in the nba and one being serb other Croatian had their relationship fall apart during the war of independence there whilst on international duty. Probably not for everyone but I thought it was brilliant

Juke the 'Nam series was brilliant.

Learned so much from it even tho I lived thru it.

Good series as well is The West by Burns.

On Netflix.

Is the West the one Robert redford narrates?

I think it's the actor Pete Coyote.

He's got the deep voice resonance of Burns.

Who like me is knocking on a bit and pretty busy.

Watched that a few years ago and always look for it on BT but they never show it which is annoying.

The foxcatcher one is top notch too
