cracker jack can?

evening all,
I hate international breaks!! soooo thinking of a topic, I saw the news regarding Jack Wilsheres contract issues at Arsenal.

following our win over Watford and the rather poor performace of our (current) captain. it set a discussion between my friends, in motion.
ive always rated jack, injuries aside. he is great on the ball, great passer , two footed and can beat a man to create space for himself. hendos performance showed his weakness. he is not suited to the no6 role, long passes aside. hes more of a no 8 with his box to box energy.

so as you've guessed, would a bid for jack, at the right price and contract of course, be a way to replace Emre Can?

think about it, our first team mf could be

--------wilshere
hendo/wij-----keita/AOC

lots of energy for press and surging runs. along with no6 that doesn't drop his load when he gets the ball deep and gets pressed.

also arsenal do have previous history of selling to rivals rmember

thoughts?

Not against Watford. I dont even know how he managed to look out of place in a game that was won 5-0 but somehow he managed it.

Completely disagree.

He had that bad touch but other than that I though he played well.

I think he’s a lot better than our ‘best midfielder’ Can in the number 6 role.

Just to clarify,
I'm not saying I definitely want him or even that he's the best option out there to fill that role. I am merely saying he's a good player, made from paper mache true, but still good when fit. For free, as I was reminded earlier, is he worth a look?

He’s not free though is he.

Rumours are he won’t sign an Arsenal contract because they want a pay as you play deal (fair enough with his injury record).

He’s going to want upwards of £100k a week and the chances of his body being able to cope with Klopps intensity is extremely slim.

Got Sturridge written all over him.

I suspect our ‘interest’ is utter drivel, but we’ll see.

I can see him joining Walcott and Everton.
