No, that would be ridiculous for the sake of banter.

BT didn't feature any Everton players in their advert - they chose not to. They had their reasons but they probably preferred to show Man City players.

The only ones to get their knickers in a twist over that were Everton fans. Threatening to cancel subscriptions etc..

Not specifically no. Wouldn't watch an Everton match for any of Everton's players.

I would watch Man City play for a number of their players though, which is what BT were getting at with their advert.
