I am a bit short of time and I may add more later today, but I thought I had better put this up for predictions.
I'll go for a very hopeful 1-1 with a Rowe goal and I'll put my attendance figure in later. Sorry.
DPL vs Blackpool AND Wimbledon

I thought I had better extend this thread to Monday's game as the above is as good an introduction as any.
It is an entirely mundane observation, but the fact is that even now the AFC of Wimbledon still do not entertain their opponents at home, but at rather prosaic neighbours, Kingston-upon-Thames.
Now there's a challenge for the student of - I had to look it up - paronomasia!
I will return to my own boring serious preview the football match once I have consulted the various authorities.

A pun for Kingston upon Thames? That's a Hull of a challenge!

Don, what do I think of Beestin?
I am very impressed with him this season.
He has physically bulked up which has been a big asset in his development.
He has tremendous skill and vision, his pass inside the defender to set up Rowe for the first goal being a good example of that.
I think he could get close to being as good as Copps in time.

Nookie, I love your set of tennis analogies.
Can’t fault you.
The Thai break line was the best one of the lot.

I'll put in my prediction when I surface tomorrow, probably about 30 minutes before the game as I want to see the team before deciding how big our victory will be. Hope DF does not make too many unnecessary changes.

3 love today for the confident and inform Rovers. John (are you serious?), Marquis to volley in the first with 8026 making the raquet .

Mooli: the only pain is mine in getting things wrong – sorry. You are up to 143.
Will DF rotate the squad today I wonder? From what I remember of the away match, the Dons outran us most energetically, so some of those who worked so hard on the Bloomfield Road pitch might benefit from another day off, but after such a display it might be difficult to know who to leave out. Butler and/or Boyle will surely be keen to get back in action.
As for Wimbledon, they might have tried to put some pressure on the ref to abandon the game on Friday after going 1-0 down, because the highlights show that pitch was a mini lake district. But they were more honourable than Charlton were when 3-1 down against us. Unlike Charlton however they did seem to have a good prospect of splashing their way to a draw at least against Fleetwood and had numerous creditable efforts on goal.
They again played at quite a pace and will give us a lively challenge. They have not conceded many goals recently and in the last 3 away from home have drawn 1-1 with Rochdale and Peterborough and only lost by a single goal at Shrewsbury.
A win should be well within our capability and the addition of variety in our goal attempts has proved itself recently with the counter-attacking and long-range shooting.
Our position in the Home Form table from 4 to 10 matches puts us firmly in the “Play-off” places, so we are stronger than it may sometimes seem.
On this basis, not only does a win seem likely, but a good one could be ours, so let it be 3-0 with Beestin in for number 1 or Wright if he doesn’t start with Marquis the 3rd choice in case neither does. Crowd 7500.

So, I got up at 6 AM (retirees do not normally get up this early!) to find out we have a waterlogged pitch. Nookie predicted almost what I was going to say. It is sad when we have winning momentum that we have another game to cram in later. Perhaps it means DF can play the same team next game?
