Leeds Utd v Fulham Matchday Thread

Trip darn sarf for the Travelling Faithful to take on a team who are flying pretty high in 3rd spot, just been thinking about the 9 points we need to get back in contention (providing a couple of other sides hit a rough patch), does anyone think we might nick this and go on a late surge ?

Venue ...Craven Cottage...Date 3rd April...Kick Off 1945hrs

Team News
Leeds United
Leeds have no new injuries to contend with after ending a four-match winless run against Bolton on Saturday.
Forward Samuel Saiz will be hoping to start after returning from a hamstring injury from the bench against Bolton.

Fulham
winger Ryan Sessegnon could start after being named on the bench for Friday's win at Norwich.
Aboubakar Kamara and Oliver Norwood are also options for boss Slavisa Jokanovic, who said his side looked tired in the game at Carrow Road.

Match facts
The past five league meetings between these sides have ended as draws, with the reverse fixture ending goalless this season.
Leeds are unbeaten in their past three league visits to Craven Cottage (W1 D2).
Slavisa Jokanovic has yet to lose against Leeds as manager, although four of his five encounters have been draws (W1).
Paul Heckingbottom, meanwhile, has lost all four of his Championship matches against Fulham, including two this season with Barnsley; the last manager to lose three Championship games against the same opponent in a season was Lee Clark in 2014/15 against Sheffield Wednesday.
Tom Cairney has had a hand in six goals in his past six league matches against Leeds (four goals, two assists), scoring exactly once in each of his past four matches against the Whites.
Leeds have lost 17 of their past 24 away league games in April (W4 D3), with their most recent victory coming in April 2016 away at Birmingham.

Funny old game as the pundits are always telling us and I think if we've got a bit of a confidence boost after Fridays game we might just nick this, I suppose a clean sheet will be out of the question so i'm going 1-2 with Pontus celebrating with a rocking baby gesture to the crowd and Alioski poaching a last minute winner ( ok who wants some of what i'm drinking )

Good performance. Didn't deserve to lose 2-0.

I’ve just got home from seeing Cellar Darling.

It would appear that I had way more fun then anyone who sat at home and listened to the game...

Don't know why some think we played well, never mind the score of 2 - 0.

We just don't do the basics:
- poor first touched,
- marking not goalside, when done at all,
- no running off the ball to give players options,
- unable to beat GK one v one.

Sigh.........

First half we were dreadful and outclased completely
Second half they sat back and we got into the game a little, but to me it looked like they could step up a gear had they needed to
To say we played well is delusional and comical. Five points from eleven games against top six sides says it all. But hey,we probably played well in all those games according to some🤔

Not doing well against other teams isn't a reason to say we didn't play well yesterday. What a silly thing to say

About as silly as saying we played well last night. First half was a smambles
Did you actually watch the game?
