Yea because they have by far and away the best team but in these one off cup games he is easily outwitted tactically.

Wigan, Wolves and Liverpool have all done it this season

Why do people bother trying to WUM us over Wenger still, most of us know he's poor. Wenger isn't lauded by many as the best manager in the world like Pep either.

This is a misguided poster. For the past 5-6 years wenger has been awful in CL round of 16 while Pep has been quite good. And after one bad night we are expected to believe they are on the same level.

...going out in the quarters with Bayern and now City again and invested millions with only one target.....to win the CL. Well done Pep

Pep got it wrong by trying to play an uptempo game against Liverpool. Klopp is a master at using the pace generated by the opposition against them.

In a way it shows that players like Silva, Sane, Sterling are nowhere near the quality of Madrid and Barca players when it counts.

Pocho found the perfect way to play against Liverpool. Slow possession game with a heavy dose of medium to intermediate passing. Let the 3 destroyers in midfield for Liverpool create the tempo.

Absolute idiot. Like bemoaning an Everton manager not doing as well as arsenal when looking at comparative squad quality. Bayern barca were stocked with world class players and he spent 280 million at city more than wenger has spent in 21 years . Really winds me up how clueless the average fan is
