RIP Crafty Cockney, a true legend of the oche and an all round nice guy.
60 years old man, another one gone too young, and he was there at the darts tonight watching it before collapsing and sadly suffering the heart attack that led to his death, some tiny comfort that he was at least where he would want to be i'd imagine, right bang in the middle of watching some darts

If it hadn’t been for Eric, Keith Dellar, Jocky Wilson, John Lowe, Bobby George and all those other characters of the time I probably wouldn’t have taken to darts. That era made for good viewing. Very Sad news of Eric’s passing.

He was a big Chelsea fan as well. I met him once in a blues pub in small heath, he was doing a charity darts thing. We used to use the pub pre villa games. We went back post match and there he was. When he discovered we were Chelsea we had a rofmght old chin wag, very nice bloke.
