It is a lovely position to be in Aggers, don't get me wrong.

You know what football is like though, you think everything is going well and one goal changes it completely.

If City get the first, especially if it is early, you get a predicament - go for an away goal to essentially kill the tie but leave yourself more open to concede a 2nd, or sit back and look to soak it up.

My gut tells me it will be 2-1 or 3-1 City, so pretty comfortable

The City defense doesn't seem as good as one believes. When the defenders are exposed, individually they don't seem to make a big impact. Look how easily Laporte and Otamendi got skinned. And those are Household names. Even Kompany looked vulnerable at times.

I expect City to return to their usual playstyle with 2 attacking fullbacks and try to score as early as possible, dominate possession and hope Liverpools counter won't hurt them.

aside from major injuries at everton the two things klopp is really concerned about:

1. Lovren making a media statement about the opposition
2. GB predicting a win
