Wow that's a lot of money to be giving away whilst we struggle for hospital beds, police officers and nurses.

Foreign aid isn't the reason you're struggling.
It's greed.
A Naz* newspaper trying to pin the blame on foreign aid is just a further sign of how unabated this greed is.
It's basically the rich saying "Why the f*ck should I pay 2% more tax if it can just be denied to some dying African runt."
And there are still idiots who buy the despicable Britain First rhetoric.

Freign aid should be for Earthquakes and other natural disasters.
NOT giving billions for example to India who spend their own money on a facking space program ....or is that what we are paying for ?

I've always thought 'Space programmes' was just a PR cover for missile development, that the 'Space race' in the 60's was just a mask for ICBM technology, once the tanks went to the moon they had all the info they needed and haven't been back...just a thought.
The fact India has a 'Space programme' is probably the reason we started ending aid to India.

OP. Does that mean that we are right to send the money overseas rather than spending it on the NHS etc?

I know they're not Scruttocks, but the OP thinks they are, if I have followed his reasoning correctly.

THe thing with Foreign Aid, its just another term for giving the country money to have influence and presence there.
For example a lot of 'foreign aid' goes to NGO's in the countries. These are set up there to allow the British Government to have an influence on policies within the said countries
