Raiola..

Guardiola: “Two months ago Raiola offered me Mhikitaryan and Pogba to play with us. Why? He was interested in Mhikitaryan and Pogba to play with us. Pogba is an incredible player. A top, top player."

City weren't a team then silly

---------------------------------------------------

You were more of a football club back then than you are now Paul, even if you were a load of sh1t3.

You're now a pawn in a rich man's game of promoting the UAE to the rest of the world. Man City died 10 years ago. Abu Dhabi Blues rose from the ashes.

Does this further cement Pogba's place as the most expensive flop of all time?

Pep trying play Jose at his own mind games so he can take the pressure focus off them during their week defining moment?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This, but pogba would have known fine well what riola was up to, so interesting to see he likely sanctioned him to approach city...

Peps timing though, says it all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What?!

There's no reason to believe Pogba would have known anything about Raiola's conversations with anyone.

Agents do this kind of thing without their players' knowledge, let alone consent, all the time. It's part of their job.

Sadly this can be true.

Some agents love to play this part of the transfer game and make sure that there is genuine interest from a potential club/s prior to giving knowledge to his own player. That way he can better orchestrate a financial deal for all concerned in the agents' own selfish minds if there is a possibility to do so.

Some players rely too much/believe their agents to be the gospel truth. Others not so.

It wouldn't surprise if Raiola did do this behind Pogba's/United's backs and if he didn't then he didn't. Then that would be down to Pep trying to cause some unrest in the build up to the derby, trying subconsciously to alleviate some pressure of his players this week.

Sorry, but I don’t believe he was blissfully unaware of riola offering him out. Given recent issues with Jose, he may have been willing to ‘test the waters’ as such.

We can't have any idea either way Baz.

As I said, it is absolutely common practice for agents to do this kind of thing without the knowledge of their clients.

That much is true. However, given the ripples that this was bound to create, I can’t omagine pogba not knowing about it. It’s kind of a big thing to do and keep secret from your client isn’t it?
