Our recent upturn in game management has seen 8 clean sheets in 12 games and only 6 goals conceded. 1 loss in 12 and that was an unfortunate loss away to Utd.
We are comfortably in the top 4 and look good for the CL semi finals. To me this Liverpool team seems to have seen the emergence of several leaders, where before we were bemoaning the lack of leadership (sevilla Euro final, Brmouth away) we now seem to see a few emerge.
Can, VVD, Milner and Henderson to name a few and i also think the likes of TAA and Robertson look like players who lead too. It makes a difference and the recent results would back this up.
The team is getting more consistent and actually, if you look at the results over the season, its only the draws that have stopped us mounting a challenge to City, we have far too many. Hopefully we can rectify this in the coming seasons

Dont understand why people should be! We are one of europes best attacking teams, City are defensively poor recently and City have just conceded 3 goals back to back.
City SHOULD be nervous, not us. I am absolutely confident that we will progress.....doesnt mean we will of course, but "I" believe we will

You will progress alright. You will find a way to score no doubt.
I still think city will win ...I can not see them losing 3 in a row...but will come a little short...And this score in particular should painfully sting the most at the Etihad.

There’s a reason we bemoaned a lack of leadership, it’s because we lacked leaders. Can, Henderson, Milner - they haven’t suddenly become great leaders. It’s not a light switch they’ve turned on.
We’ve also seen an upturn in form with several players, again not to be confused with leadership.

While your enthusiasm and support for the club appears boundless, while you continue to stick your neck out, time and again, in a never ending admiration of where our club is and where it is hopefully headed, there are times when it might be politic to wind the aforementioned neck in a bit. I say that as a supporter, not a critic or wum.
