Wow every game they have lost/drawn this season one of their little ratbag players have come out and moaned about the opposition. Absolutely pathetic.

Always happened I remember them drawing with rangers and branding the defensive display as anti football and not fit for the CL

they beat chelsea later in the comp who sat in and praise their determination and commitment when in reality they sat in and defended deeper than Rangers did!

I saw these comments and just laughed tbf

THink you're taking away too much from Pep. He did play an unusual fomrattion in the first half yesterday which seemed to work really well but always going to be risky with Salah/Firm/Mane. Liverpool were 3-0 up (with some slices of luck) coming into the game so his hands were tied. With the team huffing and puffing and tiring away, whilst Liverpool defending resolutely he couldn't do much more

Pep has changed his tactics often over the years, which a lot of people here clearly don't understand.

Tbf I thought in.first half yesterday we went long way too much and we were poor. The chances we did create came from good one touch football like ox Chamberlain effort in first half. I think we now have a good varied game.

Which season was that ?

the first leg both teams played 70 longballs, granted City had more passes so a lower %. but never the less. They went long to Sane at every opportunity, can't really blame them for that 1v1 vs most fullbacks n they're toast.

I found it absolutely hilarious to watch city smash long ball after long ball at sane and him being offside constantly.

Weird but true OP.
