Apparently the Russians and Syrians have already emptied their air bases in readiness for any strikes so it does seem extremely pointless if they do launch missiles

The most powerful boat/weapon sits under the water. Now if you see the plan for the 3 dreadnaught replacements you can see that we have no need for a surface fleet.
