“Rivalry”

Can someone please explain to me what is this utter noncece of a rivalry between Liverpool and Spurs. When did it start? There is just no need. Similar style of play which their both respective and progressive managers inject into their players. This rivalry and hatred between both clubs is uncalled for and embarrassing. Understandably Liverpool Rivals - Everton/Utd. Spurs rivals-Arsenal/Chelsea.

Liverpool and spurs rivalry.

Have a laugh!

In most recent seasons Liverpool have had the better of the 2 Prem games but Spurs have finished higher in the table which has caused alot of bragging rights arguments.

With the exception of the Utd board L and T are the 2 most active teams on this forum and both have certain posters who love to wind the others up.

Away from here the supporters generally get on fine, its a ja606 thing.

ther eis no rivalry between spurs and liverpool outside of this little forum where there only seems to be a lot of spurs and lfc fans hammering each other for lack of other options

Devonshire, Billy, MoreGreaves and Sandy definitely have a problem with Liverpool.

Otherwise it's all cool.

Spurs are to be admired imo. Our two teams are an example of how it can be done without spending ridiculous amounts and still play exciting attractive football.

It's because Spurs have achieved nothing really in the last decade or so.

The only laudable thing they've done is get top 4 and finish above Liverpool so naturally they gravitate towards Liverpool because they can't say sheet to City, United, Chelsea or even Arsenal fans because these teams have also won trophies recently.

They've benefited from our slow recovery from the cowboys but it looks like we are getting round to fixing that.

I expected it will dissipate once normal service is resumed.

There are very few City and Chelsea fans on here and the Gooners have enough problems of their own without us sticking the boot in. Hence why Spurs may gravitate towards Liverpool but it works both ways as there are plastic Scousers all over the Spurs board on any given day.

By that logic, and in fact, the "rivalry" is an instigation by Spurs fans that is also perpetuated by Spurs fans.

Yesterday an article went up on the Spurs board by a Spurs supporter saying how much he was looking forward to going to the City game on Saturday.

One of the earliest comments was by a Liverpool fan asking why he always lets us know when he's attending a game. Thats the kind of condescending rubbish that serves no purpose and begs the question why does he feel the need to go onto another teams board to comment on something that has nothing to do with him?

Thats what needs to stop but of course it won't.

It's too late to be crying about that now.

When Spurs were flying over our heads they were like rabid wolves wumming us left, right and centre. Now things are normalising Spurs fans are pretending they don't know what's going on.

Spurs fans made their bed by being arrogant caaaants especially to Liverpool. If they can't keep up the pace there'll be consequences.

When we complained about Spurs fans on our board we were told to stop being soft, can give it but can't take it etc and it was funny to you at that time, not so funny now, is it?

It's how this website works. Rest assured payback is a beech and Spurs fans have already started crying

Haha, oh dear what a load of utter nonsense.

I'm sorry that us continually finishing above you has made you so angry and vengeful but prepare yourself it could happen again.

See what I mean.

You did it just there. That's how Spudlings behave then they wonder WTF is going on.

I know you don't do it on purpose, potatoes are just thick.
