I hope that we have one good, memorable result and performance before we bid farewell to this league.

A wonderful rise over the last 10 years has been an amazing journey, but the way NC threw the towel in months ago is what gets my back up.
Some fans of his may say he is only being honest, but sometimes you have to keep your thoughts in your head. His negative interviews, telling us how great every other team are and how we are not good enough has just about taken its toll on our team and destroyed any team spirt we had left.
I get the fact we are up against it and we will lose games, but its the way you lose. If they show fight and give it a go fair play, I will still clap my team at the end of the match.
Sorry NC, your negativity has shone through and I dread League 1 if you are still around.
Derby will put us to the sword tomorrow.

nige says when we are back in div 1 there will hardly be any movement in the team well if that is the case this time next year we will be heading for div2 ,yes very negative need to get rid of the golden oldies he bought in this year, albion 1 derby 1

I remember after losing 4-0 at home to Aston Villa looking forward to playing Wolves a few days later. At least it can't be as bad as that, I thought. But of course it was.
Can't help having the same feeling this morning.
Of course I agree with the sentiment that the last two years were beyond our wildest dreams just a few years ago. Memories that we will treasure whatever the future brings.Only right that we should be forever grateful to Ben and Nigel because it would not have happened without them.
But I also agree that the negative post match interviews are sapping the spirit right now.
If the team isn't good enough why is that?
A lot of those treasured memories last season were provided by Jamie Ward, Cauley Woodrow, Michael Kightly, Jackson Irvine (and by the way - absolute class of Jackson to applaud all four sides of the ground after Tuesday's game). 23 goals between them but only Jackson playing regularly at a marginally higher level.
Unlucky with Liam Boyce but apart from him the recruitment just hasn't matched last season and whether that's player selection or financial clout I can't help that feeling that we just haven't done our best this year. And from where I stand on the terraces that's all we ask. And all we will ask when we come back in August.
Brewers 0 Rams 5. Sorry!

I agree with both JFWqwerty6 and steve1210 regarding where we've come from in the past 10 years and yes we do owe a lot to Ben and Nigel and I would have accepted at the end of last season if we'd gone back down to League 1.

At the beginning of this season I said to friends that I fully expected us to be relegated at the end of this season. The top half of the Championship for me is a mini-Premier League and there is obviously no way we can compete financially. Therefore, we are better going down a league, where we might be able to hold our own.

I think for me it's been the manner in which we've done it. I thought at least we might make a fight of it, but since Christmas the management team of the club seem to have just accepted that would be our fate and things have progressed from bad to worse. It's been very reminiscent of the worst of the Peschisolido era.

Having said all that, for today I will still try and be optimistic and so my prediction is:

Albion 1 Derby County 1
