Sunday morning footy - disgrace

I play Saturday's, still plenty of cants around and the same situation.
Referees have no control really although there is slightly more respect towards them.

3 games this season our designated ref hasn't turned up so we have had to find some random to referee the match.
Those matches are always quite tasty- rugby tackles, leg snappers, stamping, throat grabbing... The lot.
Good fun though

Thats exactly the problem in amateur football

Me and the family avoid English resorts on Holiday. I know it sounds daft but I kind of dislike what we've become as a nation.

Spot on. Factor in that the resorts are usually tacky shiiitholes full of thick idiots who prefer kfc or egg and chips to trying local cuisine and there’s no reason to go anywhere near one of road ppaces.

Brits abroad are a total joke beyond embarrassing, it kicked off on a wedding party on our flight to Jamaica last July and a toddler got sparked out cold during the ruckus.

The captain came back and went mental banned them from having any more booze and told them one more peep out of them and the police would be waiting at the gate when they landed.

Later we heard they were arrested at their resort and the cabin crew had to stay behind and testify in court.

Only one of them was on the flight home and she didn’t say a word.

I hate most Brit’s abroad. Despise the scuuuny looking
Types. They should be banned from holidaying abroad, send them all to Blackpool so they can wallow with other scuuum in the filth.

I feel embarrassed for the whole country when you see Wayne and waynetta with their spiked haired rat offspring sauntering down in tracksuits and football tips looking for a maccies. Die.

Rather unfortunate bit of news.

I've found it hard enough reffing a pub game without it descending into a mini riot.

I tip my hat to anyone brave enough to take it up as a calling.

I think any sunday league ref is both brave and slightly unhinged, can’t see the attraction in at all, but I tip my hat to those that do it.

Us brits are tough compared to you dutch.

Many who play proper football on Saturdays turned out on Sunday mornings to play with their mates from the pub and are give a name to give the ref if they get booked.

Under the FA rules you are only allowed to register to play for one football club at a time, at all levels

My mum's second (and last) husband was a Sunday League Ref. They were getting intimidating phone calls for about three months relating to a sending off. I found out about it whist on leave.

They knew who it was but couldn't prove it. Luckily, I mentioned this to my brother who knew one of the local villains from where he worked at the time. A quick word in his ear, and the phone calls suddenly stopped.
