Tbf its not like liverpool asked to play against Roma. They would be playing Chelsea, Barca or Atleti if any of them were good enough to knock Roma out.

Roma topped the group whereas AM came third in the same group. So on this basis Roma > AM.

Why does everyone take Roma so lightly ? I could’ve sworn they just dumped Barca out of the CL

Flikey one off game against an off colour Barca.

Anyone thinking Roma are an easy beat to the final is mental. Topped the group with Chelsea and Atletico in it, navigated a really tricky tie against Shaktar and then pulled off an incredible comeback against soon to be La Liga champions Barca thrashing them 3-0. Their home ground is a cauldron.

Wouldn’t shock me if they knocked us out, although i do think we’ll win.

Nah they were the better team over 180 minutes Baz. They were unlucky in the first leg too (scored two own goals)

Roma are doing what Lyon did more than 10 years ago. Whilst they're are a great team mentally, I don't expect Liverpool to falter. After all Liverpool don't exactly have a reason to be cocky about after an OK league season (no one done well in league except for City). So because of that reason I don't expect Liverpool to be complacent.

Based on Barcas todays performance against Valencia I can see clearly why they got knocked out of the CL, I don't think it was an off colour, the real mystery is how haven't they lost in La Liga

Definitely off colour, perhaps tiredness late season. But they had the ability to put Roma to bed, didn’t want it nearly so bad..

I think last night’s result at Anfield made my point, Roma just aren’t that good - simple as that.

They arent, but why couldnt Atleti get more points than them in the group stage and play against liverpool instead?
