Do you think Sunday was more of a cruise than the 2-0 semi when commons and griff scored ? Just remember the bears getting excited about a throw in in our half at one point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? have you got a really bad memory or are you like 22 years old or something?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bad memory

Nah it was just that 2-0 was the first time in many years for me that it felt straightforward and easy - Sunday was similar in that sense - be interested to hear what you think ?

It was the most straight forward win for celtic in all the years ive watched them

that would include last seasons debacles and the 6-2 from back a bit....

And they will only get easier as time goes on.

Not sure about that duke - I think rangers are at rock bottom and will improve with a new manager - okay not much money at the moment but nothing lasts forever and rangers will compete again in the next 2 or 3 years.

Nah.

Rangers will put up more of a fight next time. I fully expect us to win of course but it’ll be a tedious hard grafted 2-1 or something like that.

in 2 or 3 years celtic will have banked another 80 mill quid.

Yes but we are a plc and can’t just throw it on players especially when it’s deemed there is no need to protect our base market which is essentially the league title and another tilt at Europe group qualification.

Spending to make us a wee bit better in Europe makes zero business sense. Too risky an outlay which would be significant in any event. And that’s why Rodgers will eventually leave.

The difference a good manager can make is remarkable. Just look at Kilmarnock. Their squad were struggling with Elbows as their manager. In comes Steve Clark with a couple of decent signings and his skills have transformed them. Rangers have made some very poor managerial appointments and are now paying the price.

Different route to qualify for cl now duke - much tougher cos we’re not Spanish or Italian etc

I believe Celtic are likely to be seeded next season based on other teams with a higher co-efficient not winning their league - beyond next season we (and most other champions from lesser leagues) are facked

yes so you just keep winning the league at a canter.

Then a mixture of cannon fodder with the odd champs league result.
Get in the Europa most times
Bank 25 - 30 mill

Rangers may progress get to a break even point, but even that is doubtful as a huge chunk of the support wont pay to watch a competition we can never win.

The SPFL is no longer a meaningful competition, yes we have a relegation battle and some interest in euro places, but as far as winning it, 11 teams have zero chance of that.
