The amazing thing for me is how the players switched to this style so quickly and were able adapt to Nuno's style.

Ok we have much smarter players now, but even so pulling them all together to such great effect has been the thing that stands out for me. Most coaches need a season to bed their ideas in, it took about 3 matches for us.

The days of isolated front men and a defence that wanted stand on the edge of the six yard box when under pressure are gone hopefully, banished to history.

Many an expert on 'ere - experts because they sit in a stand stinking of Bovril - swore blind for year after year that hoofball was the way forward. They loved Karl Henry because he was 'one of our own'. They loved Danny Barf because he was 'one of our own'. They adored Kevin Doyle and Dave Edwards because they ran a lot, had immaculate hair and were professional.

Meanwhile, ten thousand miles away, sat a bloke watching grebes who hasn't set foot in Molineux for a decade. Everything he said about our duff players, duff coaches, duff managers, was true.

Wolves are now on a different planet, playing football that wouldn't be out of place in the Nou Camp. Took one hell of a purging (still to be fully completed) to get there and I suspect that there are some who don't really like it. Pride does that.
