Evaluation of Spain’s big two

In recent months seasons years even the big two in Spain are perceived at the place to be, the place to achieve all your goals..

Both teams are coming into a transitional period and now we see all the big stars from the PL being linked with them

David De Gea
Edin Hazard
Harry Kane
Mo Salah

Now I am old enough to remember Real Madrid before Ronaldo and Barcelona before Messi.. I remember us battering Real Madrid 5-0 on aggregate during their last transitional period.. I am old enough to remember when Barcelona had only won like 1 European cup and were strugglers in the Europa league (we put them out I’m sure)

Ronaldo and Messi are clinging onto the top but let’s think long term, 2 to 3 season both will be well and truely at the end of their careers.. Other players in both clubs are aging and yes I know Barca have won the league and not been beat but they are in the twilight of their dominance..

The point I’m making here is everyone in the PL should have the screw them mentality and let them decline.. No matter how hard they push manipulate or use their Don Balon horse crap media outlets if every team in the PL stands strong against them they will decline and no longer be “the place to be"

Actually sick of hearing every time a player shows world clas form that’s where they should go..

At the end of Messi and Ronaldo, Suarez and Modaric, Benzema and iniesta is massive gaps in quality.. bring back the 2005 - 2010 era where English clubs dominated Europe and screw these two overhyped Spanish “superpowers" riding on the wave of arguably two of the greatest players of all time who are near the end..

I think collectively every team In the PL should block all transfer to Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer and then let’s see how good they are in the coming years..

For to long the best players in the PL have been going their now both teams are getting desperate is the time to stop the rott for once and for all...

Also I’m going to go out on a limb and say Coutinho jumped ship at the wrong time he went from a young vibrant progressing team to one that is on the verge of decline and is now going to have to be the main man...

Throw away a 3 goal lead.. I know he wasn’t playing but hey he’s used to being part of a team that does things like that well suited to the look great when winning disappear when the going gets tough mentality..

Also want to mention I said ages ago we are a better team with him gone and stand by that fully...

Ok it was a lot longer than a couple of season but see him going the way Ronaldinho went without ever getting to his level..

“] Having been a model professional and devoted himself to training during his hugely successful first three seasons at Barcelona, Ronaldinho's partying lifestyle and lack of dedication to training saw his physical condition decline, with many at the club believing he was now past his prime.[54][55] On 19 May 2008, Barcelona club president Joan Laporta stated that Ronaldinho needed a "new challenge", claiming that he needed a new club if he were to revive his career.[56]”

You sound like you've been on a bender with Ronaldinho to be honest.
