Should Vorm start?

Given Hugo's recent performance and the fact Vorm has played in the FA cup so far, should Michael be our number 1 come the weekend? The rest of the team will pretty much pick itself or should. I was in Hugo's camp a few weeks back but he is going through a difficult time so I'm now not sure. What do others think?

If Lloris is in the top 10 keepers in the World, the standard of keeper is pispoor.

Does no one remember the Gomes era? Or Robinson? Sullivan? We're lucky to have Lloris. He could play for a team far better than us if he really wanted to. Mark my words - if he leaves anytime soon, it won't be down.

By putting in Ter Stegen and Navas I feel you're just adding them based on who they play for, not what they do. They don't do an awful lot to be honest, they don't have to. Navas dropped a clanger only last week against Juve. They're not considered to be the best, they just play for the best. Same could be said for Oblak but to be honest, I've not seen enough of him but if you're behind that Atletico defence, you're always gonna look good. I have no idea who Horn is but Jay Leno doesn't strike me as athletic enough to boss the sticks. Short and fat too. No chance!

Navas' handling isnt great, he makes mistakes. So does lloris though, hence why you can make a case for either.

Ter Stegen is very very good, as is Oblak. Its not like the last few seasons we've had a bad defence, last season we had the best back 4 in the league easily, so dont see how you can hold it against Oblak.

I dont hate Lloris, he's good but clearly flawed. I Wouldnt get rid though because I dont think we could do much better.

There's probably only one goalkeeper in the world who seems flawless at the moment and that's De Gea. Lloris is having a blip which is clearly affecting his confidence (his handling looked a little shaky against Brighton) but everyone has those spells. If he pulls off a worldy on Saturday, we'll al love him again and he'll get his confidence back... assuming he plays!!!

Oh I remember Gomes alright. Hugo has been doing a great impression of him this season.

Not sure of the relevance of either Robbo or Gomes to this to be honest. You may as well say we cannot criticise Wanyama or Dier because we once had Zokora and Palacios

I liked Zokora. Doesn’t watch penalties that lad

The overeating of De Gea continues. Only about a month ago he was pushing some tame header into the net to ensure they got knocked out of europe. Less than 2 months since Willian beat him at his near post...

Nah I know anything Mourinho related can never be higher than a "meh" in your mind but DDG has been unreal this season, literally.

Also fridgeboy, Ter Stegen and Oblak are the real deal.

Well he’s not flawless if he’s made errors.

De Gea's expected goals conceded per game minus his actual goals conceded is astounding this season. He's won Utd so many points
