I’m not sure I can even comment after that.

I'm really torn TBH. On one hard, I like what Puel *wants* to achieve - a younger, more patient, more possession based, more technical team not reliant on Vardy's pace. But on the other hand, the performances aren't very good and people are getting fed up. Is that Puel's fault or the players?

If we were going to give Puel a season or two to get it right, I genuinely think he would. But we all know that with our owners, that won't happen.

In many ways, I think Puel might be the right man at the wrong time, or rather the right ideas with the wrong squad.

He’s the wrong fit for Leicester. It’s like DeBoer at Palace. We don’t have the players so why on earth is he changing it so drastically.

Puel found the balance earlier in the season and he’s completely overdone it. He really belongs in Spain, France or Italy - where the football is much slower and possession based. The premier league is fast and intense, look at the intensity and pace of Man City. That used to be us - ok not the quality or the players, but that high press, cutting off space, high tempo, passion

He is sucking the life out of this team. Nullifying all of our strengths.

Talksport saying that Puel plays football that is completely out of date.

And what the fack are our owners doing?! Since the title win it’s like they’ve been on a deliberate mission to get us relegated as quickly as possible.

Transfers are now more miss than hit. Managerial merry go rounds after previous stability. No football direction. Jon facking Rudkin as DoF

That's the conclusion I came to on the way home. It's like Wenger's style. Football's moved on; the big thing at the moment is pressing and we're not doing that at all. That Southampton defence had mistakes throughout its ranks and ready to exploit tonight, but we just didn't go for them.
