Does he still have a place in our squad? I hope so! With Carrick retiring and Fellaini possibly (hopefully) leaving I think Jose should only be spending money on one midfielder.
Hopefully TFM and Tuanzebe are also integrated into the first team, we can improve our first team by simply using the talent we already have.

Soler looks the more talented player from what I’ve seen. I’ve no problems with Pereira being in the squad, though. I’m just not sure he’ll be prepared to be a squad player, that’s why he went on loan in the first place.

You overrate him talking like that and that's coming from somebody who likes him and thinks he can contribute next season.
Re. his time in Valencia. He settled pretty well and by all accounts has become a pretty popular member of the squad.
Even though he has had some good spells, I wouldn't say he's been a huge success there but I'm sure he'll have learned quite a bit playing at a more demanding level under a good coach and with better players around him.
In terms of the Valencia fans, the jury still seems to be out on him.
For us at the very least he offers a different squad option. He's someody who could come in and offer a solution to break down deep stubborn defences either from a central or a wide position because his crossing ability is quite good and Lukaku could benefit from it.
