Moreno

Will those people on here that were kidding themselves earlier on in the season finally accept now he has got to go this summer?

Woeful performance where he got roasted by bang average Matt Phillips every single time.

Genuinely never seen a defender play for us with a worse positional sense than him. He never learns from prior mistakes either.

Dissapointing to lose the lead but I would have taken a point before the game and it least today shows one player in our squad who needs to be moved on ASAP.

Moreno was very good at the start if the season, however Robertson has come in and cemented his place by being even better. Since coming back from injury he hasn't had much game time, so I don't expect him to come straight back to his earlier levels. If he's willing to be backup, we should keep him, otherwise we need a new backup.

But toor if he can only play to a good level by having an extended run of games then that does us no good as a back up.

We need someone who can come in for Robertson and be solid and dependable. They don’t have to be incredible but at least just make the left side solid when they play.

Moreno can’t do that, he was much better earlier in the season but only through playing week in week out. And he won’t do that at Liverpool so shift him on and bring someone in who can come in and do a job Whenever they’re called upon

“Whilst he had a poor game, it was actually Gomez' tiredness and lazy pass at the end which cost us. Without mentioning the referee of course.”

I do agree with this. But Moreno was still very poor and showed imo why he should be moved on.

Plus Karius got caught in no mans land and lovren let Rondon get in front of him, so it wasn’t just Gomez fault, but it wouldn’t have happened had he not waived a lazy leg at that ball.

Klopp has improved every player in the squad bar Moreno.

This proves without any doubt that the problem is with the player absolutely unable to transfer training ground learnings to a match.

Maybe the competitive environment affects him mentally or he's just trying way too hard.

I don't believe he will go anywhere in England everyone knows his weaknesses, gets caught under the ball and dives in recklessly.

For a defender, that's just basics.

When you watch Robertson play, what impresses me after watching/enduring Moreno are his discipline and concentration levels.

Moreno does have ability, but his lack of a footballing brain will always mean that he gets caught out. He loses concentration, takes up poor positions and panics. Milner was a far more effective proposition in that role and he was playing out of position. This speaks volumes.

Klaven as the left CB and Moreno as the left back made the left side of the defence weak and Matt Philips had them on toast a few times. Yes, Matt fekin Phillips

I would rather see a young LB alternative brought in. Moreno has had plenty of chances and just doesn't learn from his mistakes.

Klopp was clearly impressed with Moreno’s attitude and willingness to work in the summer, which gave him another chance at the club when he was destined to leave.

He took that chance to begin with, and was playing as well as he ever has.

It’s clear that since Sevilla though that Klopp has lost faith in him, as since then he’s only had about 500 mins of football and most of that in games we weren’t really bothered about.

He may well have a chance to leave again in the summer as I don’t think Klopp would stand in his way. He might not take it though as he likes the bantz and I don’t think Klopp will be bothered if he wants to hang around for the last year of his contract without making a fuss.

Hes awful. Even during his better period he was an accident waiting to happen. Hes not good enough to play for WBA Stoke Swansea etc id rather all of their left fulls as back up. He was at fault for first goal

I think he did his cruciate or something and hasn’t been the same since.

Still at Swansea but out on loan in Ecuador.
