Time to go samu

Never been much of a fan of Saiz and I’ve made my mind up on him now.
I have been consistent since the start of the season. I didn’t think he was all that at the start and his season has got worse and worse. I did at one stage think that with better players around him perhaps he could be a star but I’m not even convinced with that theory now.

Today it was everything bad in samu
Refused to chase down any loose balls
Refused to challenge for headers
Refused to play first time crosses
Refused to play to the whistle - amateurish given the had the ball and still wanted a free kick.
Countless through balls that were over hit
Countless times lost possession and knocked off the ball.

Rightly substituted and would have gone off at half time had I been manager. Showed petulance by kicking something and then sulking on the bench. I hope he was disappointed in his own pispoor display than the decision to take him off.

He’s just not right for this league. A luxury player that championship clubs cannot afford.

Sell to the highest bidder but I’d not expect to get much more if anything above the £3m we paid.

Happy days, Lufc, that's what 'fired up' looks like. That video should be shown to all our so-called players who think they can wear the white shirt.
But Samu has to stay.

On his day, he's run the game. Been untouchable.

Needs the right coach to get the best from him, when he's at his best he's world class.

World class? He is struggling to perform in tier 2 of english football on a consistent level. At his best he is a top end Tier 2 footballer and no more, but sadly he has not performed at this level over one 90 minute game let alone string a few decent games together.

Of course he has, I think you're been a bid overly dramatic about him.

World class..........over dramatic.

Ronaldo is world class. He plays for Real madrid and scores for fun in the Champions League

Messi is world class. He plays for Barcelona and scores for fun in the Champions League

Samu Saiz plays for 12th placed tier 2 Leeds United - the biggest club hes ever played for

It seems to be the order of the day slagging off Samu on here, which is laughable really given he is our best player asides from Pablo.

If you asked 100 Leeds season ticket holders who go week in week out who our best player was other than Pablo I would hazard a guess that 90+ would say Saiz.

He's clearly a good player, but one who is critically undermined by his very visible flaws.
