How does the manager pick up

the players for the next Prem match with Watford next Monday. After yet another shattering defeat in a big cup game, I think Poch is going to have one hell of a job to get them focused to what will become another absolutely must win match at Wembley, if as I suspect Chelsea win at Swansea prior to Spurs playing and close the gap to the Top Four to a miserly two points.

Can we really say this set of players have it in them to lift themselves, or will they now go into freefall last four games, drop points in games just a couple of weeks back we all thought would be absolutely gimees.

I myself though the last few games would be absolute nailed on wins, but when you look at them, with the pressure on, which Spurs absolutely just don`t do, every game looks a potential banana skin.

Watford (H)
WBA (A)
Newcastle (H)
Leicester (H)

Newcastle and Leicester look exactly the sort of games that Spurs will go in as massive favourites, and somehow contrive to draw, or worse lose. I am usually just about the most confident poster on the Spurs board, but the manner of this eighth semi-final defeat in a row has done it for me. They went out with barely a whimper after United went 2-1 up, they fought for nothing and basically gave up. This does not look like a side that is up for a fight when the heat is on.

I hope I am wrong, but I can see Top Four going right to the wire, and absolutely nothing is assured yet.

Think everyone needs to calm down.

It think the semi-final defeat mate was the straw that broke the camels back. Supporters can only take so much disappointment.

sandy you are another one who needs to pull themselves together. as one of the older members you should really be calling for calm and speaking rationally, while don etc is throwing the toys out the pram.... but instead you have joined him on the wagon it seems.

Chronic, I am always the most optimistic supporter on the board. I always big up the team, but as I said earlier there is only so much disappointment and let downs we can take. If this was a one off, I wouldn`t be concerned, but this happens time and time again. Following on quickly from the Juventus feck up, comes yet another semi-final defeat.

Not throwing toys out of the pram. Realisation that the manager, team are not as good as we all though they were. Cutting to the chase, Poch is never going to lead Spurs to a trophy. Top Four will be as good as it gets, but that is not guaranteed this season at all.

I was worried about top 4 after Brighton...I’m even more worried after the semi.
It would be so Spursy for us to beat Chelsea at Sb for the first time in decades, then for that match to mark a point of collapse which culminates in Chelsea themselves overtaking us and hauling back a 10 pony gap we opened up

We are playing teams with nothing to play for, they should all be on the beach, we could not ask for an easier set of fixtures with 3 at `home`
